You can have a yard sale or you can give them to charity. Whatever you decide, schedule a time to do so. You can use the moving checklist to make sure you do not end up throwing away the other things when the time comes for you to throw away the other things. Similarly, use the moving checklist for your yard sale or charity. As for those items you will move with you to your new place, box them starting from the items you do not use often to the items you use everyday.
