A little blog where I explore metal storage sheds

You can then begin laying the concrete foundation, but be sure that the spot you have chosen for your steel shed is graded and level! Your foundation can be either a full concrete slab or square concrete pads placed at each of the building corners; each will do an adequate job of supporting your steel shed. Your next step is to erect your steel shed's support columns into the anchor bolts that you have embedded into the concrete pads or foundation and attach the rafters to those columns. After the rafters are in place, fasten the roof purlins and wall girts that support the rafters and wall sheeting, then frame any door and window openings. Next, attach your cable bracing and install the doors and windows. If you plan to insulate, put the insulation in place before erecting interior metal sheeting over it.
