In the moving services, portable storage units are delivered at the customer's residence. Contractual flexibility allows the customer to load and unload the items flexi-time. Loading is made easier as the containers are ergonomically designed and do not require a ramp to load items as was the case in a normal truck based system. The variety of containers is far more than the variety afforded by traditional trucks. The container sizes in a portable storage system varies from 5X5 feet sized container for loading belongings from a studio flat, 5X10 feet sized container for a one bedroom apartment, 10X15 feet for two/three bedroom apartment, 10X20 feet for a three/four bedroom apartment and a 10X30 feet for a bigger house.
