While not everyone can be there with you it is still good to let everyone know about your newest family member ; a beautiful and memorable way to do that is with a birth announcement card. Not only are birth announcements a way of letting your kin know about the baby, but they can be a beautiful and touching memento to remember this special time in your life. It used to be that when you wanted to send out birth announcements that you would go purchase the cards and fill them out by hand. Though, once there is a child in the picture sleep becomes a precious commodity and any activity, such as birth announcements, that may detract from this is less then desirable. There is also the option of going to a specialty card store, telling the salesperson what you want, letting them do the work of filling out the birth announcements and you can come to get the birth announcements later.
